We are delighted to announce the addition of experienced forward Chris Hogarth to the roster for the 2025-26 NIHL North Two campaign.
Chris joins makes the switch to West Yorkshire from East Yorkshire having spent the past few years playing for both Hull Jets and then, for the past two seasons, Kingston Sharks, last year wearing the ‘C’ for our league rivals.
Bulldogs’ player-coach Dave Williams believes Chris will add a much-needed all-round, skilled and physical presence needed to help lead the forward lines.
Chris said: “I’m thrilled to be back playing league hockey and excited to be playing on a new team with some new team-mates and some old ones.
“Dave contacted me and we spoke for over an hour on the phone. He told me about the direction the club is going in, he has got some great ideas and he has got a great set of players and I think as a team we can achieve great things this season.”
Player-coach Dave Williams added: “It is great to add another experienced player to the squad and one that will be a huge benefit to the team.”
“Chris is a true all rounder. He is an offensive threat who can create scoring chances whilst also bringing a physical presence.
“He is not afraid to mix it up and stand up for his team-mates when required. I am really looking forward to bringing him on board.”
