Bradford Bulldogs are delighted to announce the return of forward Mikey Speare to the roster for the remainder of the 2025-26 NIHL North Two season.

Mikey, spent the 2023-24 season with the Bulldogs, quickly becoming a favourite with team-mates and fans alike, as he put up 11 goals and six assists in 26 league and play-off games.

He returned to Deeside Dragons 2 for the 2024-25 campaign - where he came through the juniors - and after spending time abroad, he has decided that his hockey future for 25-26 lies in Bradford!

Player-coach Dave Williams said: “We are really excited to see Mikey back with us for the 2nd half of the season. He had a strong first senior year last time out and he contributed well to our offense. He’s a great lad who always works hard and does exactly what’s asked of him.

“His return home to England comes at the perfect time, with us needing to add a forward to support the team during our current injury crisis.

Mikey said he couldn’t wait to get started in the NEw YEar with the Bulldogs, adding: “It is really great to be back at The Pound where my first-ever senior season was.

“I can't wait to get back on the ice with the team and start playing again in front of the brilliant Dogs’ fans.”
