THE Bulldogs are pleased to confirm that D-man Eden Cooper will be back with us for the 2025-26 NIHL North campaign - one which will mark his first full season with the team!

Having returned to the ice last year with Kingston Sharks, Wakefield-born Eden made a mid-season switch to ‘The Pound’ in time to make a handful of appearances under coach Andy Brown.

The 30-year-old right-hander believes he has come to Bradford at the right time and is determined to ensure that the Dogs make it to the play-offs in 25-26.

He said: “When Dave contacted me about resigning it was an easy choice to make. We had a conversation about the direction he wants to take the club and what he wants to build and it's a very exciting time in Bradford.

“Having just missed out on playoffs last year, this is a target we will be pushing hard for this year. I’m super-excited to get back to The Pound and our great fans - UP THE DOGS!”

Player-coach Dave Williams added: “Eden joined us late on last season but immediately fit into the group well.

“I am looking forward to seeing what he can do this year. He is a big guy who stands at 6ft 5 and isn’t afraid to play tough.

“He works hard and battles every shift and gives us the physical edge and grit back there, that our team has been known for in the past.”
