Signing news: Ben Darbyshire back for fourth Bulldogs season

It's time to give a HUGE Bulldogs welcome back to The Pound for the 2025-26 season for D-man Ben Darbyshire!

Last season, Ben played a huge role in what was very much a transitional year for the club, stepping up to lead by example in his third season with the team!

Player-coach Dave Williams said: "This will be Ben’s fourth season with us now.

"He really came into his own last year and was one of our most reliable defenceman every game.

"His confidence on the puck under pressure grew and he contributed well at both ends of the ice. I am looking forward to see his game improve again this year."

Ben added: "It's great to be back again at Bradford.

"After speaking with Dave, I like the direction he wants to take the club this year. 

"With the disappointment last season of just missing out on playoffs, it's a key goal for us to reach them this year and get a solid base for the club to move forward and become a successful club again. 

"I'm looking forward to being back at 'The Pound'"!
