Signing news: Lucas Vince sticks with the Bulldogs for another year
BACK FOR MORE: Lucas Vince will be hoping to contribute once again for the Bulldogs during the 2025-26 season.
BRADFORD BULLDOGS are delighted to announce the return of forward Lucas Vince for another season down at The Pound!
One of just two ever-presents, 20-year-old Lucas proved to be one of the Dogs’most consistent performers in a transitional 2024-25 season for the team, finishing the campaign as the third-highest points scorer with 11 goals and 10 assists in 27 appearances.
Born in Oldham, Lucas first joined the Bulldogs at junior level back in 2017, making his way through the ranks until making his senior debut in 2021-22, since when he has made 103 appearances for the club, posting 35 goals and 25 assists.
Player-coach Dave Williams is delighted to get the left-hander back for another year, adding: “Lucas has a great attitude and is always willing to listen and learn, despite still being young.
"He is a high-energy player with great speed and relentless work ethic who knows where the goal is given the chance.”
Lucas added: "This season I'm happy to be back at Bradford and excited by the prospect of the team's direction under the new coach. Dave has been around the team for years and understands the club’s culture and identity.
“I'm hoping I can adapt quickly and can bring more consistency in my own performances to help aid the teams efforts this year.”
