BRADFORD-BORN, Bradford-raised, Bradford-trained - it’s what the phrase #onceabulldogalwaysabulldog was invented for!

The Bulldogs are delighted to announce the return to The Pound of Aaron Jordan!

The right-handed forward spent his formative years at Bradford, going on to play several seasons at senior level before going on to have spells at Kingston, Blackburn and Altrincham, briefly returning to the Bulldogs before moving into coaching down the road at Leeds Junior Knights.

Last year saw the 37-year-old return to the ice as a key part of Leeds Knights 2’s inaugural campaign as player-assistant coach, but this season will see him back in Bulldogs’ colours - something Aaron is over the moon about!

He said: “I’m buzzing to be signing back at Bradford. I’ve been speaking to Dave over the past months and I really like what he’s building here and I’m excited to be a part of it.

“Returning to where my journey in the game started means a lot to me. Hopefully, I can make an impact to the team's offence - I can’t wait to get going.”

Player-coach Dave Williams is pleased to be adding someone with Aaron’s experience and knowledge of the game to the line-up.

He added: “It is great to have Aaron back at Bradford again - he is someone i have known and played with for many years.

“You know exactly what you are getting from Aaron, He is passionate about the game, has a sharp eye for goal and brings a level of intensity that will hopefully lift the entire team.

“I am looking forward to him bringing some experience back to the team which is something we lacked last year especially against some of the tougher teams.
