Nettie Jack Mickevicius back for second season with the Bulldogs

THE good times keep on rolling at The Pound as we bring you news of another Bulldogs signing for the 2025-26 NIHL North season!

It’s great to be able to tell you that Jack Mickvicius is back between the pipes for his second season of senior hockey with the Bulldogs!

Having spent his final year of juniors in Bradford, ‘Mickey’ made the transition into senior hockey seamlessly and proved an effective duo with netminding partner Jake Lowndes.

On his decision to remain in West Yorkshire, the talented 19-year-old said: “It’s great to be back for a second season and I am looking forward to getting stuck in this year. I can’t wait to get back on the ice and enjoy the pre game atmosphere with the fans.

“Hopefully, this season as a team we will become more consistent and push through for a spot in the playoffs.

Player-coach Dave Williams is confident Jack can build on a “great” first season as a senior.

He added: “Jack had a great first season as a senior player. This year I am looking for him to continue to move forward and compete for game time in the net.

“He had some great performances last year and proved that he deserves a place in this team.”
